Barbara N. Reed
Wealth Manager Advisor
Barbara Reed and her husband, Philip Reed, became affiliated with Flagship Wealth Advisors in 2018, after many years working as independent brokers with Royal Alliance Associates, Inc. Prior to partnering with Flagship, the couple provided financial planning and wealth management services to clients through Reed Financial Group in Chatham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, founded by Phil in 1992.
The Reeds’ affiliation with Flagship has enabled them to expand support services and product offerings to their clients, while bringing their experience, expertise, and shared approach to client service to the Flagship team. “We all care about our clients and their families,” Barbara says. “We are there for births, deaths, and everything in between. We develop amazing relationships with our clients. For us, it’s about quality of work and client relationships, and carrying on our tradition of meeting each individual client’s needs.”
Barbara became co-owner of Reed Financial Group in early 2010 after more than 20 years as a senior executive in charge of financial operations at for-profit and non-profit corporations. Barbara is a separately Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Royal Alliance Associates, Inc., member of FINRA and SIPC. She maintains a Flagship office in West Chatham on Cape Cod, Mass., and she is licensed to practice in California, Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Before joining Reed Financial Group, Barbara was the Business Manager for Aline Architecture, Inc., Executive Director for the Academy of Performing Arts, and Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Coldwell Banker. Responsibilities included corporate budgeting, cash flow analysis and reporting, marketing, management, training, contract negotiations, acquisitions and development of management and staff. Barbara also taught music at the elementary through college levels.
