Managing Executive Personal Finance and Wealth Management
Maja Stojanovic, CFP®, CLU, MBA is a personal financial planner who uses a holistic approach to help individuals and families achieve, grow, and preserve financial independence. Maja has been affiliated with Flagship Wealth Advisors since 2006.
A "citizen of the world," Maja grew up in Europe and earned her undergraduate degree in business management in Paris. "I come from a family of healthcare professionals, so helping others was always number one in the family," she says. "I was looking for a field within the financial industry or business world where I could still have that satisfaction of helping others."
Maja holds her MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Management at Babson College. She built her career as a financial services professional, account manager, and tax preparer. Her background in investments, insurance, and taxes prepared her to earn the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2002.
Maja takes the time to get to know her clients and to understand their wishes, wants, and needs. "Making a difference in people's lives is what drives me," she says. She strives to help clients "feel that somebody is there, holding their hands, and helping them through the various steps to achieve their dreams and their goals."
Knowing how important that is, Maja leads the firm's group of Northeast advisors as managing executive and first-line supervisor in assisting them to help their clients achieve their financial goals. She helps other financial advisors navigate regulatory changes within the financial industry while maintaining focus on their clients.
Maja holds Series 7, 24, 53, 63, and 65 Securities licenses, as well as a Life, Accident, and Health Insurance license. Fluent in several languages, Maja brings a global perspective to her work at Flagship Wealth Advisors.
Maja enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys. On weekends, she can be found cheering on her sons at their tennis tournaments and ski races in the winter.
